“People have written thick books about painting. I decided to do the opposite - show more and explain less.
This book is about the Sun and its colours that magically change the nature around us and its different shapes and forms. The colours of the Sun influence our feelings, thinking and imagination.
In the book there are lots of pictures about the Sun and its doings. That’s where the title came from, “Like Sun in the Sky”.
The most delightful moments in the life of an artist are the encounters with her childhood. My pretend-sun was the dandelion. The Sky was the Sun’s home.
Light is everything we see. The source of light is the Sun. Where the sun cannot reach, a shadow appears. So the whole world is covered with light and shadows.”
